Material and Asset Engineer

The candidate should have a strong background in oil and gas industry, with at least 08 years of relevant PM & Asset Management experience. This role will primarily focus on ensuring the Asset, reliability and availability of critical production equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Instrumentation & Control / Analyzers / Electrical / Rotating equipment to support the reliability of equipment.
  • Apply expertise and practical experience in Reliability concepts and techniques specific to the oil and gas industry.
  • Lead and facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) / streamlined RCM (sRCM) processes to assess and optimize Maintenance Asset Strategies.
  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and address the causes of equipment failures and understand Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Ensuring reliable operations of assets, meeting reliability targets, while achieving the lowest life cycle cost.
  • Analyze equipment performance and failures to determine appropriate Preventive / Predictive Maintenance (PM / PdM) Tasks and Frequencies, Operational Routine Duties (ORD).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to reliability engineers and technical writers.
  • Serve as a leader in managing and developing the reliability team and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize advanced software skills, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and specific Reliability applications, to analyze data and reporting of reliability incidents and KPIs.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant reliability experience.

Requirements:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Instrumentation & Control / Analyzers / Electrical / Rotating equipment.
  • Well-developed skills, knowledge, and practical experience in Reliability in the oil and gas industry, process industry.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with RCM and sRCM processes.
  • Proficiency in conducting FMEA and understanding of RCA analysis.
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance and failures to determine PM tasks.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Process, Technical Discipline or Reliability engineering preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities to effectively manage personnel.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft software, including Excel, Access, and Power BI.
  • Excellent meeting facilitation, technical writing, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, JDE E1, Maximo.
  • Experience working in RCM tools etc.
  • Experience in determining Equipment Criticality.
  • Experience in assessing Integrity and Asset Consequence.
  • Experience working in Oil field in KSA, Qatar, UAE.
